Dear Podcast Connector,

I’ve been obsessed with the book Show Your Work by Austin Kleon for years. Despite our 3 years of reluctant digital nomading and thus living out of a suitcase, I even had a physical copy of the book with me for a lot of that time. I needed that little yellow book to scream at me when I doubted, even for a second, that what I had to share was dumb. Because it wasn’t (and neither is what you’d share!).

This book is brilliant for podcasters. Here’s why.

🎧 In this Life on Creativity podcast episode with Austin, he talks about the difference between sharing everything and as he puts it, “giving them a peak into stuff.” Start listening at 26 minutes into the episode for this segment. Of course the entire episode is interesting because it’s Austin, but if you’re strapped for time, listen only to this segment. The snippet is under 3 minutes long.

😎 Welcome to my external podcast growth brain

I’m at a crossroads with my passion project podcast, Geopats. I’m putting out the last few episodes that I recorded last year this week. I meant for this to be the final season but I really wonder. Am I done with it OR does it just need a bit of reenvisioning? I’m quite comfortable stopping but something in me is saying, “not yet.” I wonder why.

Have a lovely weekend. See ya again on Friday.
